The following changes were rolled out to Condo Control during our July 5, 2023 release. Please review the release notes carefully as some changes impact the way the system works. A video summary is available at the end of the article.
- (Mobile App) Improvements to Community List Page for Users in Multiple Communities
We have made an improvement to the community list page shown to users when they log into a mobile app. Communities are now listed in alphabetical order and search is available if list of communities exceeds 10.
- (Mobile App) Improvements to Redirect from Links in Emails to Mobile App
We have further improved the redirect process when users open links in email notifications. Now, if a user has an account in multiple communities, they will skip the step of selecting a workspace and be directed straight to the details page of the main features (announcements, events, tasks, service requests, and proxy).
- Fix to Currency Symbol and Translations for Unit Ledger Feature
We have addressed an issue where the correct currency symbol was not being displayed in unit ledger email notifications. Additionally, we have improved the Spanish translations for the feature based on client feedback.
- Fix to Amenity Bookings with Overdue Payments
We have resolved an issue with amenity bookings that had overdue payments. If a deposit failed (e.g., due to insufficient funds), users now have a short grace period to update their card information on file. During this period, the amenity should not be available for booking. It will only become available if, after a second retry, the original booking gets automatically cancelled.
- Fix to Events with Yearly Frequency
We have addressed an issue with events set to occur every two years, which was causing the events calendar to crash.
- Fix to Validations on Event Page
We have addressed an issue with validations for recurring events on the create event page.
- Fix to Accounts Payable Approval Process
We addressed an issue with portfolio users being able to override an invoice approval process and approve the invoices from portfolio level while not being part of the approval process.
