November 29, 2023 Release Notes

The following changes were rolled out to Condo Control during our November 29, 2023 release. Please review the release notes carefully as some changes impact the way the system works. A video summary is available at the end of the article.

  • Enhanced Paid Visitor Parking Accessibility via Standalone Web Page: Scan & Pay

We've expanded the functionality of paid visitor parking to cater to users without a Condo Control account. Community Administrators can now generate a unique URL for their property and leverage third-party services to create a QR code. This QR code can then be conveniently placed on signage near designated parking areas.

How It Works:

  • Visitors can scan the QR code using their mobile devices.
  • From their mobile browsers, users can seamlessly input details and acquire a parking pass—no Condo Control account or app download required.

Making paid visitor parking hassle-free and accessible to all is our commitment to enhancing user experience. We hope this update adds value to your community's parking management.

  • Improvement to Account Locked Message

We've implemented a refined account locked message. Now, in addition to informing users about their locked account status, we've included a convenient link to reset their password.

  • Help Widget Improvements within Webapp

When initiating a case creation, users will now receive contextual messages guiding them to open a service request (where applicable) or directly contact their community administrator.

 

bug.png BUG FIXES:

  • Fix to Violation Update Emails

Addressing an issue with violation update emails, we've ensured that notifications now respect the related email preference "Email me when a violation is updated." Specifically, if a resident updates a violation using the mobile app, community administrators with the email preference disabled will no longer receive unnecessary notifications..
