What’s new in Condo Control.
Condo Control has rebranded! On October 16th we unveiled our new brand to the community. The changes were motivated by our desire for growth and a sustainable future.
The new logo mirrors our diverse client base, consisting of both condominiums and homeowner associations, while the new colours represent sustainability reflecting our commitment to reduce paper consumption and promote a greener approach to running community operations. Not to mention it better aligns with some of the exciting new features we have coming soon.
While our outward look has changed, our business continues to deliver the same level of excellence you’ve come to expect.
We have launched version two of our Asset Management feature, now with integrated payment collection. The new version introduces a more dynamic approach, allowing residents to request access to community-owned assets, like parking permits, storage spaces, or recreational equipment, rather than just tracking their own private assets.
Residents create linked assets during the request process, like a vehicle for a parking permit, which will then be connected to their account and can be used for other applicable community asset requests.
Communities can also collect fees for their assets which residents pay for during the request process. All payments will be pre-authorized and collected, using Zego payments, once the request is approved.
There are a number of new customizable options for community asset types, all of which are configured on the revamped Asset Management Settings page. When creating community asset types, administrators can now set an asset duration, enable renewals with custom amounts and availability, pick the renewal reminder date and even enable a grace period to allow additional time for the renewal. They can also create any custom fields they might need residents or staff to fill out for the asset request.
Additional functionality like inventory tracking and waitlists will be available soon so stay tuned for further updates on our features.
