March 20, 2025 Release Notes

The following changes will be rolled out to Condo Control during our March 20, 2025 releasePlease review the release notes carefully as some changes impact the way the system works.

 

process-improvement.png IMPROVEMENTS:

  • Service Request Notification Logic

We have improved the logic for our service request email notifications. When assignees are added to a service request type, they will be the only staff members to receive notifications about the request, except in the following conditions: 

  • If an assigned staff member takes an action on a specific service request, they will not receive the email notification.

  • If multiple users are assignees, only the user taking the action will not receive the email notification.

  • If a staff member is an Architectural Change Request approver (and subscribed to notifications) they will receive the email notification. 
  • If a service request type is not assigned, all staff members will receive the email notification when an action is taken, if they are subscribed to the corresponding email preference.

These changes create a more streamlined notification process, removing unnecessary notifications and ensuring relevant parties are aware of the state of each service request.   • System Performance Improvements

We continue to implement backend improvements to increase the overall processing speed of our system. This release, we focused primarily on the File Library loading time. This is part of our ongoing efforts to optimize system performance and ensure the best experience possible for our users. If you experience performance issues, please report them to the Support Team.

 

bug.png BUG FIXES:

  • Fix to Incident Report Reference Numbers

Resolved an issue in the Security & Concierge module where the Incident Report reference number was incorrectly incrementing by 2 instead of 1. The reference number now follows the intended sequential order.

  • Fix to Portfolio Announcement Timeout

Addressed an issue where Portfolio announcements failed to send due to a timeout, resulting in announcements being saved as drafts instead of being posted. The announcement process has been optimized to prevent timeouts and ensure successful delivery.

  • Fix to Resubmitted Community Asset Requests

Resolved an issue where resubmitting a declined community asset request with a new linked asset resulted in a duplicate license plate error. The system now properly unlinks the previously linked asset, ensuring that staff can approve resubmitted requests without encountering validation conflicts.

  • Fix to Asset Management Dashboard Filters

Addressed an issue where the Asset Type filter on the Asset Management dashboard was only displaying results for up to two selected asset types. The filter now properly displays all the selected asset type options in the search results.
