How to Create & Share Guest Passes

The Guest Pass feature is only available to Residents on the mobile app. Guest Passes cannot be created from the Web app.

Residents can grant their guests one-time access to common areas in the community, like swimming pools or tennis courts, using the Guest Pass feature. This user guide outlines how to create, pay and share guest passes from the Condo Control mobile app.

 

1. Launch the mobile app and select Guest Passes from the main menu.

2. Click Create Guest Pass to purchase a guest pass.

3. Select the guest pass type from the drop-down menu and pick how many passes you would like to purchase. Ensure you review the guest pass details before proceeding. Once completed, click Continue.

4. Select your desired payment method and if applicable, enter your payment details. If you have previously saved payment methods, they will be listed here. If not, consider saving your payment method to save time in the future. Review the payment summary and then click Pay.

5. Your guest pass(es) have now been purchased.

Tip: To locate a pass faster, you can filter the guest pass list by either Pass Status, Pass Type or Payment Status.

6. To share a guest pass, click Share beside the guest pass and select how you would like to share the pass (e.g. SMS, Email, WhatsApp, etc.). Your most recent contacts will also be listed for faster access.

Note: Your sharing options are based on the apps on your mobile device (e.g. iMessage on iPhones).

7. The draft message will then open in your selected platform which you can customize before sending. Do not change the URL.

8. When your guest arrives, they click on the URL and will see the guest pass with QR code for security to scan.

If the pass has already been scanned, the scan date will be listed and there will be a notification at the top of the pass.

If the pass is expired, the expiration date will be listed and there will be a notification at the top of the pass.

Note: Guest Passes expire 90 days after the purchase date.
