Video Script
Welcome to the Yardi Integration demonstration. In this video we will review how to update and sync your data and illustrate how the data appears on both Yardi and Condo Control. Condo Control offers two-way sync with Yardi, meaning resident data and commerce data will sync between the two platforms.
On Yardi, resident data is listed under the Residents section. You can then search and select a user to view their full details. This includes information like first name, last name, and email address. On Condo Control, resident data is listed in the Unit File. Like before, you can select a user to view their details. The user’s first name, last name, email address and more will all be displayed under the User section.
Your resident data is automatically synced every night, but you can manually sync it at anytime. For example, you update Ursula’s email address on Yardi. You can then open the Unit File, select Update From Yardi from the Actions menu, and click Start New Sync. Your data will now be in the queue to sync. Any outstanding changes will be synced at this time – not just the update to Ursula’s email. The sync time will depend on the amount of data you have. Once the sync is complete, you will see Ursula’s updated email address on Condo Control.
In addition to resident data, we sync commerce data. Owners and Tenants can view this information by logging into Condo Control, selecting My Account from the main menu, opening the Account Balance tab, and clicking Get Account Balance. Here they will see any invoices and payments generated through Yardi as well as transactions from the Amenity Bookings, Store, and Online Payments feature in Condo Control.

All commerce data syncs in real-time. For example, you create an invoice for Ursula’s rent on Yardi. Once you save the invoice, Ursula can refresh the Account Balance page and the rent invoice will be listed.
Invoice payments are also synced in real-time. For example, Ursula can pay her outstanding balance in Condo Control by selecting Make a Payment from the Account Balance page. This will redirect her to the online payments page. All the information will be pre-populated with the balance details. After reviewing the payment details and amount, Ursula can enter her payment information, which in this case, is a credit card.
The payment is now complete. Ursula can then return to the account balance tab and will see the new payment on the transactions list and the account balance will be updated. Similarly, the new payment will appear on the Yardi account ledger.
