This article outlines the new features, system improvements, and bug fixes rolled out in the month of October. Please review the changes carefully as some may impact the way the system works.

What's new in Property Control.

We have extended our embedded payment accounts powered by Stripe to support portfolio-level setup. Portfolio administrators can now create portfolio-wide payment accounts that are automatically available to every workspace within the portfolio. This allows communities to route payments directly to the portfolio account when appropriate, greatly reducing manual transfers and simplifying financial management.

At the same time, individual workspaces can still create and use their own embedded payment accounts for transactions. This means payments can be handled centrally at the portfolio level, locally at the workspace level, or a mix of both—offering maximum flexibility for different operational needs.

October 1 - 12, 2025

We have extended embedded payment accounts powered by Stripe to the portfolio level, allowing portfolio administrators to create payment accounts that all their communities can use. Workspaces can still maintain their own payment accounts as needed, giving portfolios and communities flexible options for how payments are routed and managed. process-improvement.png  Fix to Email Preferences for Users Imported via Integration

 Resolved an issue where users imported through integrations were not automatically granted email permissions aligned with their group-based module access. 

 

October 13 - 19, 2025

process-improvement.png  Fix to Logging Violations for Single-Digit Units

Resolved an issue where the unit search on the New Violation page required a minimum of two digits. Users can now search by single-digit unit numbers, as well as by username or first/last name.

 

process-improvement.png  Fix to Error Accessing My Account for Some Users

Resolved an issue where users with pets that did not have a specified pet type encountered an error when accessing My Account.

 

process-improvement.png  Fix to Downloading Violation Templates

Resolved an issue where violation templates with spaces in their names could not be downloaded from the Violations page. Template names with spaces are now handled correctly during download. 

 

process-improvement.png  Fix to Email Notifications about New Visitors

Resolved an issue where administrators continued receiving email notifications about new visitors logged from the S&C Console even when email notifications were disabled in preferences.

 

process-improvement.png  Fix to VMS Batch Deposit Push to VMS Integration

Resolved an issue with the commerce export in the VMS integration. The overnight commerce export sync now runs automatically without requiring a manual trigger.

 

process-improvement.png Fix to 500 Error When Updating E-Voting with “Blank Ballot for Quorum Only”

Resolved an issue causing 500 errors when residents updated votes after selecting “Blank Ballot for Quorum Only.” The system now correctly skips related questions and processes updates without errors.

 

October 20 - 26, 2025

process-improvement.png  Fix to Updating Vehicle License Plate under Security & Concierge

Resolved an issue where updated vehicle license plates for visitors were not searchable in the Security & Concierge console.

Resolved an issue where service request notifications continued to be sent even after a user’s group was deleted. The system now correctly checks the group’s active/inactive status before sending notifications.

 

process-improvement.png  Fix to Amenity Booking Setup with Pricing Matrix

Resolved an issue where amenities with an incomplete or blank pricing matrix could not be booked. The system now:

  • Displays a warning message to users attempting to book an amenity with an incorrect setup.
  • Displays a warning message during setup to prevent saving an incorrectly configured amenity. 

 

process-improvement.png  Fix to Adding AMEX Credit Cards in Portfolio Setup

Resolved an issue where clients received an error when attempting to add or submit American Express (AMEX) card details under Portfolio Billing. 

 

process-improvement.png  Fix to Additional Details for Asset Management

Resolved an issue where admin users could not approve an asset if the Additional Details field exceeded the 800-character limit. The system now enforces the same 800-character limit for both creation and approval pages.

 

October 27 - 31, 2025

process-improvement.png  Fix to Asset Custom Report

Resolved an issue that prevented the Asset Custom Report from generating results regardless of the selected asset type or status. The report now functions correctly for all asset types and statuses.

 

process-improvement.png  Fix to Security & Concierge Disabled Submodules

Resolved an issue where pages would break when opening records linked to a disabled Security & Concierge submodule. With this fix, data from disabled submodules remains accessible within the S&C console. However, when users attempt to view the details of records linked to a disabled module, a pop-up message — “Module is not Enabled” — will now appear instead of an error.
