How do I know who received an announcement notification?
You can run a report to find out this information. Click <Reports> on the left side menu, type <Announcement Recipient List> in the search bar, and click the <three bars> to run the report. Then, enter the announcement date and announcement name and click <Run Report>.
The Status column in the report shows who received the notification. Click the <funnel> icon to filter by a specific status. Delivered means the email was sent and reached the recipient’s inbox. Processed means the email was sent but there was no confirmation it reached the recipient's inbox (which doesn’t mean it wasn’t received). Dropped/Bounced/Blocked means the email was not delivered or received by the recipient.
Note: Announcement recipient lists are retained for 24 months, and after that time they are permanently deleted. Announcement reporting will no longer show the recipient details.
A User says they are not receiving email notifications, why is that?
There are a few possible causes for not receiving email notification. First, check the Unit File to see if their email is marked as Invalid.
If the email is correct, click on their name and select <Resubscribe> in the email status section.
If the email was not marker as Invalid:
- Ask the User to check their junk/spam folder
- Ask the User to check their email preferences on Condo Control, by clicking <Welcome> in the top right corner and then <Email Preferences>
- Ask the User to whitelist the Condo Control email address. For further instruction refer to the following user guide: How to Whitelist an Email Address
If a User has not registered or signed an E-consent form, will they get emails?
Yes, if their email has been added to the system they will be sent email notifications (regardless of whether they registered or signed their E-consent form). To view a list of User/Unit E-Consent status, select <Reports> from the left side menu and search for the <Electronic Consent> report.
Then, click the <funnel> icon in the top right corner. From the <Filter by Report Type> drop-down menu, select <Users/Units With/Without Electronic Consent> and click <Submit> to run the list. To export the list, click the <floppy disk> icon and select the appropriate format.
How can I increase my E-consent numbers?

I don't see a template for my announcement type, what can I do?

How do I know which Residents require paper copies of an announcement?
After creating an announcement you will see three reports. Select the appropriate report from the Mailing Details section for a list of the Users/Units that require a paper copy of the announcement. You can also access these reports by selecting the announcement from the announcement list.
The Mailing Label Report: will give you the list of Units with Off-site Users who have not consented to receive notifications electronically (their email may be in the system). You can use this list to to mail the announcement to the applicable Users.
The Door to Door Report: will give you the list of Units with On-site Users who have not consented to receive notifications electronically (their email may be on the system). You can use this list to deliver the announcement to the applicable Units.
