The following changes were rolled out to Condo Control during our November 25, 2021 release. Please review the release notes below carefully as some changes impact the way the system works.
- New Support Widget & Help Articles within Condo Control
We are gradually moving towards a support ticket system within Condo Control. A help button will allow users to view support tickets created within Condo Control and communicate with the support team without having to use external email threads.
Help articles are being added to some important pages within the system. This will help users who are trying to achieve a certain goal on the page (e.g. create a service request or set up an amenity).
- UserVoice Integration
We are introducing UserVoice, an integration that will allow us to collect feedback from users for our software. The page will allow clients to browse existing ideas and add suggestions for new features.
- Vendor Portal Feature
We are introducing a new feature that will make it possible to manage vendors from a portfolio. The feature allows admins to keep track of compliance documents submitted by vendors, and track the expiration date of the documents.
The vendor portal will also allow vendors to register their account after getting an invitation from management, keep track of compliance documents, and manage their team members.
- French Language Preference on Mobile App
Now users will be able to view the mobile app in French if their language preferences are set to this language.
- Authorizations on Mobile App
Users with a corresponding permission will now be able to log authorizations from the mobile app.
- Announcement Emails Translated to French
We will now have announcement templates translated based on the user's language preference.
- Attachment Tab Sorted Based on Attachment Types
Attachments under the attachments tab on My Account will now be sorted based on attachment type.
- Email Footer Uses Condo Control's NYC address for American Clients
If an announcement is posted from a workspace with an American address, the email footer will feature Condo Control's NYC address.
- Change to Violation Recipient Options
We improved the selection of recipients for violations. Now users without email can also be selected as recipients of violations when they have permission to view violations. This change makes it easier to merge recipients' names later on a printable violation template.
- Users Prompted to Update Mobile App
We introduced a new functionality that flags users with an older version of the mobile app. Users will be asked to update the app after a new version becomes available.
- Fix to Availability of Hotel Style Amenities
We resolved an issue impacting the availability of amenities set to hotel style if the check-in date coincided with the checkout date of a previous booking.
- Fix to Unsubscribe Functionality
We resolved an issue preventing a user’s status from being properly updated after they resubscribed to receive notifications. Before the fix, the system would keep sending notifications about invalid email to administrators, even after users resubscribed.
- Fix to Security Deposits for Amenity Bookings
We addressed an issue with security deposits not being put on hold for certain bookings one day prior to the booking start date.
- Fix to Loading Speed on Asset List Page
We improved the load speed of the asset list page on workspaces with a large number of assets.
- Fix to VMS Sync for Users with Multiple Units
We addressed a bug affecting users with multiple units during overnight syncs.
- Fix to .jpeg Images on Classified Ads
We addressed a bug resulting in classified ads not displaying images with a .jpeg extension.
- Fix to Emails about Classifieds not Showing the Workspace
We addressed an issue affecting emails about classified ads pending approval not showing the workspace name if the classified was created from the mobile app.
- Fix to Duplicate Reminders for Single Time Event
We addressed a bug resulting in duplicate reminders for a single event.
- Fix to Surveys Published without Recipients
We addressed an issue preventing surveys without recipients from being published.
- Fix to .MOV Attachments to Tasks
We addressed an error with .mov files attached to tasks.
- Fix to Service Request Status Field on Mobile App
We addressed an issue with status of service requests shown in French for all users on the mobile Update service request page. Now the status will be shown based on user's language preference.
- Fix to Amenity Booking Timeslots on Mobile App
We addressed an issue preventing users from booking available timeslots for the same day through the mobile app.
- Fix to Workspace List Page Disappearing on iOS Mobile App
We addressed an issue with the iOS app not showing the list of workspaces for users in multiple workspaces after a period of inactivity.
- Fix to Violation Map on Mobile App
We addressed an issue with some properties not showing up on the mobile violation map in cases where the workspace had a large number of properties.
