Changing the Service Request automatic assignee can help keep your workspace organized by ensuring that only the users who need to see a specific service request receive the email notification.
1. Access the Setup menu by clicking on the initials in the top right corner.
2. Navigate to Service Requests on the left menu and then select Service Request Types.
3. Here is where you will find each Service Request Type. To edit who is automatically assigned to each Service Request Type, select the pencil icon and scroll down to the "Assign to" field.
Note: Email notifications are sent only to users who are assigned to the specific Service Request type. If a user is not assigned to that request type, they will not receive an email when it is created.
4. After making your changes, select Save.
