March 3, 2022 Release Notes

The following changes were rolled out to Condo Control during our March 3, 2022 release. Please review the release notes below carefully as some changes impact the way the system works.


process-improvement.png  IMPROVEMENTS:

  • Ability to Track Visitor Parking Records Weekly

We introduced a new “Tracking Period” option under Visitor Parking settings. By turning this setting on, users can define whether the workspace tracks permits monthly or weekly. 

  • Improvement to Vendor Portal Functionality

We continue to improve on the vendor portal functionality with each release. In this release, we have made it possible to specify   approval rules for accounts payable both on the portfolio and workspace level. Currently, the change only affects the setup process. Invoice setup is coming in a future release.  

  • Ability to Edit Classified Ad after it is Posted

We improved the classified ads functionality and now it’s possible to edit a classified after it is created.

  • Ability to Add Candidate Photos and Bios for Proxy Voting

We added a new workspace setting which, once enabled, allows admins to add photos, bios and short descriptions for each election candidate. People voting through proxy can see candidate information and photos which makes it easier for them to know who they’re voting for. 

  • Improvement to Unit File Permissions

We further refined Unit File permissions by splitting them into "Can Add/Edit Contact Details," "Can Add/Edit First and Last Names," and "Can Add/Edit FOBs, Remotes & Keys."
We have also made "Send welcome email" and "Password reset" buttons available for any admin user who has permission to add or edit any information under the Unit File.

  • Ability to Add a Signature to Violation Emails

Admin signatures can be added to emails with violation notices. The same functionality is available for announcement emails.

  • Improvement to Yardi Sync

We improved our Yardi sync to prevent overnight sync errors. 

  • New Email Templates Translated to Spanish and French

We’ve translated a few new templates to Spanish and French as part of our ongoing process of making email templates available in multiple languages. The templates include:
- Purchase Order Emails
- Discussion Forum for Followers

  • Ability to Edit Payment Method on the Setup Billing Page

During our last release we introduced a functionality allowing clients to add a payment method on the setup billing page. After this release, users will be able to update their payment method.


bug.png  BUG FIXES:

  • Fix to Service Request Filtering

We fixed an issue affecting filtering on the service request feature when a user was changing a service request status.

  • Fix to Service Request View for Users in Multiple Workspaces

We addressed an issue affecting a user’s ability to view their own service request entries. The issue happened only to users with accounts in multiple workspaces.

  • Fix to Active Stay Report

We fixed an issue with filtering of the active stay report when the filter was applied to show stay details for the current date.

  • Fix to Vendor Status Change Process

We addressed an issue affecting the status of a vendor that occurred when their compliance documents expired.

  • Fix to Events Calendar View

We addressed a bug that caused event times to shift by a couple of minutes on the events calendar.
