What's new in Property Control.

We have made some improvements to recurring maintenance activities to give you more control and better visibility from the calendar view.

Now, when you edit or delete a recurring activity, you can choose whether the change applies to just that occurrence, that occurrence and all future ones, or the entire series.

You can also update the status of individual occurrences—like marking one as In ProgressCompleted, or Cancelled—without affecting the rest of the series.

And to make things even clearer, recurring activities are now marked with a recurring icon in the calendar, so they’re easier to spot at a glance.

Guest Passes are now available for communities using Embedded Payments. Residents can easily purchase and share single-use guest passes for common areas like pools, gyms, and tennis courts, all in a secure, streamlined way.

Previously, this feature was only available with Zego payments, but now communities across Canada and the United States can take advantage of Guest Passes with Embedded Payments. This improvement is available on iOS version 13.2. and up and Android version 13.2.3 and up.

We have enhanced the Make a Payment experience in our mobile app. For communities using Embedded Payments, residents can now pay using bank transfers for both one-time and recurring payments.

We’ve also upgraded recurring payments, with more flexibility to choose how often payments run. Residents can now select either monthly, every 3 months, every 6 months, or yearly and can set a custom start date for the payment.

These updates improve parity with the web app and make managing payments on the go even easier. You’ll find these enhancements on iOS version 13.2 and up and Android version 13.2.3 and up.

You can read more about our new features and system improvements in our Release Notes.

process-improvement.png  Mobile Make a Payment Improvements

We have rolled out a series of improvements to the Make a Payment feature on the mobile app. Workspaces using Embedded Payments can now take advantage of expanded payment options.

Residents can now use their verified bank accounts to make payments via bank transfer (ACH/PAD). Bank transfers can be used for both recurring and one-time payments, providing greater flexibility when paying fees, fines, and service requests.

We’ve also enhanced recurring payment functionality. Residents can now choose from multiple recurrence options — monthly, every 3 months, every 6 months, or yearly — and set a custom start date for their first payment, offering more control over payment schedules.

These updates ensure greater parity with the web experience and make it even easier for residents to manage payments on the go. These updates are available on iOS version 13.2.0 and up and Android version 13.2.3 and up.

process-improvement.png  Guest Pass Payment Providers

Our Guest Pass feature is now available on workspaces using Embedded Payments. Guest Passes provide a convenient and secure way for residents to purchase and share single-use passes for their guests to access common areas such as pools, gyms, and tennis courts. Previously limited to workspaces using Zego payments, this enhancement allows communities across Canada, the U.S., and beyond to take advantage of the Guest Pass feature

This improvement is available on iOS version 13.2.0 and up and Android version 13.2.3 and up. For more information on our Guest Pass feature, refer to the following guide: Guest Pass Overview

process-improvement.png  Fix to Asset Management Offline Payment Status

Resolved an issue where assets created with the Offline Payment method did not show a payment status, displaying only Approved instead of Approved and Paid.

process-improvement.png  Fix to Service Request Email Notifications

Resolved an issue where service request email notifications displayed contact details for a different property manager within the same portfolio, instead of the correct workspace-specific information.

process-improvement.png  Fix to Status Certificate Custom Fields

Addressed an issue where custom fields were missing from newer Status Certificate orders, despite appearing correctly on older orders in the same workspaces.

January 12 - 18, 2026

process-improvement.png  Fix to File Library Folder Panel

Resolved an issue where the Folders panel in the File Library showed an incomplete set of empty folders, rather than reflecting the full folder structure and contents displayed in the main library view.

process-improvement.png  Fix to Incident Reports Date/Time Options

Resolved an issue where Incident Reports could be saved with a future date and time, even though incidents are only logged after they occur, leading to incorrect reporting and confusion for security staff relying on default date values.

January 19 - 25, 2026

process-improvement.png  Recurring Maintenance Activity Improvements

We have enhanced recurring maintenance activities to give you more precise control over how changes are applied. When editing or deleting an activity from calendar view, you can now choose whether the update applies to just that occurrence, that occurrence and all future ones, or the entire series.

This improvement also allows you to manage activity statuses more accurately, with individual occurrences able to be marked as Not Started, In Progress, Cancelled, or Completed without affecting the rest of the series.

Further, recurring maintenance activities are now clearly identified with a recurring icon in the calendar, improving overall visibility. For more information on recurring maintenance activities, refer to the following guide: How to Log Maintenance Activities.

process-improvement.png  Fix to Owner Proxy Voting

Addressed an issue where the final review screen failed to load during proxy voting if the owner was not logged into Condo Control, preventing their vote from being submitted.

process-improvement.png  Fix to File Library Folder Permissions

Resolved an issue where duplicate groups appeared in the library folder permissions list, preventing administrators from updating permissions to grant folder access to additional groups.

January 26 - 31, 2026

process-improvement.png  Pass-On Log Edit Window

Security teams can now quickly correct minor mistakes in pass-on logs. After submission, users have up to 5 minutes to edit a log, including its title, content, attachments, and assignments. Once this time window has passed, the edit option is automatically removed to maintain log integrity.

process-improvement.png  Maintenance Activity List View

The maintenance activity list now shows the next upcoming occurrence in a recurrence rather than the entire series, with the Start Date column reflecting the date of the next scheduled activity for improved clarity. When viewing a recurring activity, users have the same options available in the calendar view, allowing them to edit or delete a single occurrence, that and future occurrences, or the entire series.
