When a package arrives, only the resident named on the label is typically notified, which isn't always convenient when household members are in and out at different times. You can change this so other residents in your unit are notified too, letting whoever's available pick up the package. This user guide outlines how to manage your household package notification preferences and email notifications.
1. Select My Account from the main menu.
2. Under the User tab, locate the setting called "Who can see my packages" and click the edit icon.
3. Pick the appropriate option and click Save.
- Only me: only you will notified when packages addressed to you arrive.
- All resident in my unit who are in the same group as I am: only residents in the same user group will be notified i.e. if you are a renter only other renters would receive the notification - not the unit owners.
- All residents in my unit: everyone associated with the unit i.e. owners, renters, residents etc. will be notified.
4. You have successfully updated your household package preference. Other residents in your unit will now see your packages under the Packages section and receive an email notification when a shared package arrives.
Email Notifications
If someone in your unit enabled household package notifications, but you do not want to receive email notifications about their packages, you can disable the email preference.
1. Expand My Account on the main menu and select Email Preferences.
2. Locate the My Account email preference called "Email me when a package is received for another resident in my unit that I'm allowed to view" and disable it.
You will no longer receive email notifications for shared packages, but you will still see them listed under the Packages section.
