What’s new in Property Control.
We’re excited to introduce Document Shop, a new way to sell documents to the community you serve. From status certificates to estoppel certificates, Form B’s, and more, it’s all available from one place. It’s not just for residents: lawyers, real estate agents, and anyone acting on an owner’s behalf can request and purchase documents directly through the portal. You set the price and delivery option for each document, choosing instant download for documents that are ready to go, or standard fulfillment for documents that need to be prepared before they’re sent. Buyers can purchase multiple documents in a single order, and supporting files attach automatically to the right document every time, so nothing gets missed.
We’ve rolled out License Plate Search, a faster way for your security team to identify vehicles during patrols. Security guards can now scan a vehicle’s license plate directly from the mobile app to check whether it belongs to a registered resident or has a visitor parking permit, removing the need to manually cross-reference plates against the Unit File or visitor parking records. Matching results, including the resident’s unit or a visitor’s permit details, surface right in the app. If scanning fails, guards can enter a license plate manually or create an Incident Report for a violator. This feature is available now on the iOS and Android app, version 13.12 and up.
We have updated the Unit File to show community asset requests at both the unit and user level. This gives community administrators the full picture of a unit’s or user’s asset activity without switching over to the Asset Management module. Each community asset request links out to its full details for further review.

September 1 - 6, 2026
Fix to Discussion Forum Topic Creation
Resolved an issue where quickly double-clicking the “Create” button when starting a new discussion topic could result in the topic being created twice. Topics are now created only once, regardless of how quickly the button is clicked.
September 7 - 13, 2026
Delete Individual E-Voting Ballots
Administrators can now delete an individual unit’s ballot directly from the Results tab of the E-Voting module. This is useful when a unit owner moves out and their outdated vote needs to be removed so the new owner can vote and receive reminder emails. Every deletion requires a stated reason and is recorded in the module’s history log. Vote counts, quorum calculations, and reports also update immediately to reflect the change.
Fix to Welcome Email Confirmation Message
Addressed an issue where the confirmation message indicating a welcome email had been sent successfully was no longer appearing after sending from the User Details page, leaving some administrators unsure whether the email had gone through. The confirmation message now displays properly after a welcome email is sent.
Fix to Electronic Consent Form Downloads
Resolved an issue where residents’ electronic consent forms could not be downloaded from the unit file — clicking the download link loaded a blank page instead of opening or downloading the file.
Fix to Recurring Event Email Reminders
Resolved an issue where, in select workspaces, editing a recurring event to turn on email reminders incorrectly triggered reminder emails for past instances of the event, in addition to future ones. Enabling reminders on a recurring event now only sends notifications for upcoming instances.
September 14 - 20, 2026
Document Shop Feature
We are excited to announce the launch of our newest feature: Document Shop. Document Shop lets you sell a full catalog of documents for the community you serve, such as Status Certificates, Estoppel Certificates, Form B’s and more, all from one place. Ordering isn’t limited to owners and residents, either: lawyers, real estate agents, and anyone else requesting documents on an owner’s behalf can access, request, and purchase documents directly through the portal.
With Document Shop, you set the price and delivery option for each document in your catalog. Choose instant download for documents that are ready to go, or standard fulfillment for documents that need to be prepared before they’re sent. Buyers can purchase multiple documents in a single order, and supporting files can automatically attach to the right document every time, so nothing gets missed.
Please note that Document Shop is replacing the Status Certificate feature and all current users will be migrated over. Your current settings, pricing, and common documents will carry over, and your Status Certificate will simply appear as an item in your new Document Shop. Reach out to your Account Manager if you have any questions about your migration.
For more information on Document Shop, refer to the following guide: How to Add a Document to the Document Catalog.
License Plate Recognition
Security guards can now scan a vehicle's license plate directly from the mobile app to check whether it belongs to a registered resident or has an active visitor parking permit. This removes the need to manually cross-reference plates against the Unit File or visitor parking records during patrols. Matching results, including the resident's unit or a visitor's permit details, surface right in the app. If scanning fails, guards can enter a license plate manually or create an Incident Report for a violator. This feature currently supports online mode only and is available on the iOS and Android app version 13.12 and up.
Community Asset Requests on Unit File
Community administrators can now view a resident’s community asset requests directly from the Unit File. This gives administrators the full picture of a resident’s asset activity without switching over to the Asset Management module. Each request links out to its full details for further review.
VAGM Gallery View
Residents attending a Virtual Annual General Meeting can now switch between speaker view and gallery view during the meeting, giving them the option to see all participants at once instead of only the active speaker.
Fix to Announcements Text Editor
Resolved an issue on the New Announcement page where expanding the formatting toolbar in the details text box could overflow that box and overlap the email preview panel, making some formatting options difficult to see and use
September 21 - 30, 2026
Amenity Booking Deposit Export to Condo Manager
For communities using Embedded Payments with the Condo Manager Commerce Export, captured amenity booking deposits now export to Condo Manager automatically. This lets amenity deposit activity reconcile in Condo Manager alongside other exported transactions, with no manual entry needed.
Updated Portfolio Layout
The portfolio experience has been updated to match the look and feel of workspaces. Portfolio pages now have a slimmer header, a collapsible main menu, and the portfolio name and logo at the top of the left menu, just like in workspaces. This makes moving between portfolio and workspace views more seamless.
Proxy Voting Improvements
We have made several improvements to the Proxy Voting module. First, administrators can now restrict individual election questions to owner-occupied units, rather than applying that restriction to an entire election. Each question is configured independently, so owner-occupied restrictions apply only where needed and all other questions remain open to every unit.
During virtual meetings, units are now counted toward “Live in Meeting” as soon as they join the waiting room, and they remain counted for the rest of the meeting, even if they leave early.
Lastly, two new proxy reports are now available in the Reporting section: the Scrutineer’s Report and Proof of Notice of Meeting. These provide a formal record of the meeting notice and final vote results for boards and property managers. Both can be downloaded as editable Word documents, so signatures can be added before finalizing.
Fix to E-Consent Downloads
Addressed an issue where downloading a resident’s e-consent form opened a blank page instead of downloading the file.
Fix to Announcement Text Colours
Resolved an issue where text colours chosen in an announcement showed correctly on Condo Control but appeared as plain black in some email programs, such as Outlook.
Fix to Portfolio Logo Upload
Resolved an issue where replacing an existing custom logo in Portfolio Setup caused an error, and the new logo was not saved.
Fix to VMS Owner Sync for Multi-Unit Owners
Addressed an issue where owners of more than one unit lost their unit association after the nightly VMS sync when they were removed as the owner of one of their units. These owners now remain correctly linked to the units they still own.
