Welcome to the Condo Control: Workspace Overview. In this video we will review the workspace structure and highlight some of the features you may have access to. Many of these features will be covered in-depth in subsequent training videos.
After logging in to your Condo Control account, you will see the dashboard for your building. Your dashboard may include announcements, an event calendar, service request summary, and more. Your user group permissions will dictate which features you have access to in your workspace. These permissions are managed by building administrators.
You can access a feature by selecting it from the main menu. The Announcements feature is used to send communications to building residents. Click on an announcement to review the details and if applicable, download any attachments.
The next feature is Events. Here you will see a calendar of your building’s events. You can sort and filter the calendar and switch from Calendar View to List View. Click on an event to review the details.
The Library contains your building’s documents like AGM materials, board meeting minutes, and Bylaws. These documents are organized by folders which you can search and view. Click on the file name to see a preview and if applicable, download and print the file.
The Service Requests feature allows you to submit requests to building administrators and track the progress. This might include repair requests, renovation approval, or general building feedback. You can also view a list of your building’s FAQs by selecting Access Knowledge Base.
Your building may utilize the Proxy Voting feature for annual meetings or special matter voting. If applicable, you can view and complete your proxy from this page.
To book your building’s amenities, select the Amenity Booking feature. Here, you can create bookings, view the amenity calendar, and access all your past and current amenity booking requests.
The next feature is My Account. The My Account page lists your unit and user details like emergency contacts, vehicles, and pets. Your user group permissions will dictate which fields you can view and if applicable revise. You can also revise your email preferences, package preferences, and password using the items listed in the sub-menu.
If your building offers valet parking, select Valet Service to request your vehicle or your guest’s vehicle.
The Package feature allows security and concierge to notify you when you receive a package. In addition to an email notification, this page lists all the packages you received in the last 30 days.
The next feature is Visitors. Here you can log your visitors and if applicable create a visitor parking pass.
The Make a Payment feature allows you to make online payments for your building fees and fines. You can also view your past and upcoming payments and manage your payments and cards.
Next, is the Store feature. Your building may have an online store where you can purchase products like keys, FOBs, and identification stickers.
You may also have access to the Discussion Forum feature, where you can post and respond to topics, and the Classified Ads feature, where you can advertise and view items and services for sale.
Lastly, there is the Survey feature. Here you can view and respond to surveys sent by building administrators.
