Welcome to the Data Import: Excel vs. Integration overview. In this video we will review our two data import options and outline the benefits of each option.
Data import is the means through which we create your user database in Condo Control. To make this process as smooth as possible, we offer two different options: Excel Import or Accounting Integration.
Excel Import
Excel import is best suited for those currently using a spreadsheet or chart format to manually manage and maintain their data. With excel imports we will create your database in 3 easy steps:
Step 1: You send your data to Condo Control.
Step 2: We organize your data and send it back for review.
Step 3: You review and sign-off and we import your data.
Benefits
- All your data is housed on the Condo Control platform.
- You can import a wide variety owner/resident data including emergency contacts, parking spots, vehicles and more.
- You can include custom user groups in the data import.
- Condo Control cleans, organizes, and imports your data for you.
Accounting Integration
Accounting integration is best suited for those currently using an accounting platform to manage their data. We integrate with several platforms including QuickBooks, Yardi, and Shiftsuite. With accounting integration your data is pushed to Condo Control. Meaning it will still be hosted and maintained in the accounting platform but can be viewed in the Condo Control system.
Benefits
- Quick and easy connection and sync process.
- Changes made in the accounting platform will sync back to Condo Control.
- Data is automatically synced overnight but can also be synced in real time with the click of a button.
- Residents can view account balances and transactions in Condo Control.
