What is a Temporary Key?

A temporary key is a key that is held by the Security & Concierge team for a limited time before being returned to the owner.

Here is an example scenario where a temporary key would be used:  when an owner is selling their unit and their real estate agent is showing their unit, the owner would leave their key with the security desk.   The security team would log this into the system as a temporary key.

Every time the key is checked out to a real estate agent, the security team would log this in the system as a check-out.  When the agent returns the key, the security staff would then check in the key.

After the unit is sold or the owner returns for the day, the security team would then return the key to the owner and remove it from the system.
