The following changes were rolled out to Condo Control during our October 2, 2024 release. Please review the release notes carefully as some changes impact the way the system works.
IMPROVEMENTS:
- Announcement recipient lists are retained for 24 months
To improve performance of the Announcements feature we have changed our data retention practices. Announcement recipient lists are retained for 24 months, and after that time they are permanently deleted. Announcement reporting will no longer show these recipient details. See: Announcements FAQ
Note: This was missed in the original release notes and added retroactively on December 3, 2024.
BUG FIXES:
- Fix for Duplicate Vehicles Creation during Short Term Rental Registration
Fixed an additional issue where double-clicking the Save button during short-term rental registration resulted in the creation of duplicate vehicle records.
- Fix for Vendors Pending Approval Display
Fixed a bug where vendors pending approval were not being correctly displayed on the vendor list.
- Fix fo Hyperlink Creation in Announcements
Resolved an issue with adding hyperlinks in announcements. Support for various link formats, such as Zoom, mailto, ftp, and tel links, has been restored.
- Fix for Task Reply Error via Email
Fixed an issue where users encountered errors when replying to new task email notifications directly from their email.
- Restricted File Type Uploads
To address a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability, certain file types (.htm, .html, .svg, .zip, .msg, .eml) are no longer permitted for upload. Users attempting to upload these file types will receive a warning that the format is unsupported.
- Navigation Fix for “Next” and “Previous” Buttons on Unit File
Corrected an issue where users were unable to navigate between users in the Unit File using the “Next” and “Previous” buttons.
- Unlinked Amenities Causing Unavailable Bookings
Fixed an issue where amenities, when unlinked from the "block duplicate booking" feature, were leaving behind unavailable bookings tied to the previously linked amenities.
- Fix for Condo Manager Integration Email Duplication
Resolved an issue with Condo Manager integration that allowed the creation of multiple user records with the same email for the same unit. Now, duplicate records for the same unit will be skipped. If multiple units are associated with the same email, the records will be merged into one user, and in cases of differing names, the first record's name will be used.
- Event Start Date Editing Restriction
Fixed an issue where users were able to update an event’s start date to a past date. Now, the event start date can only be set in the future.
