May 27, 2021 Release Notes

The following changes were rolled out to Condo Control during our May 27, 2021 release. Please review the release notes below carefully as some changes impact the way the system works.

  • Badge Report

We introduced a new report allowing admins to keep track of user badges. Report will be available on workspaces using the feature.

  • Portfolio Announcement Templates

We recently introduced our announcement feature on the portfolio level. Apart from regular announcements, admins can now use our existing templates or create their own templates and send them to all workspaces belonging to their portfolio from one place.
More changes to the portfolio functionality coming soon.

  • Customization of Tabs under My Account

We introduced a functionality allowing users to customize which tabs are available for residents under My Account.

  • Ability to Resend Questions during Virtual AGM

We now allow moderators of virtual meetings to send existing questions to users multiple times.

  • Upgraded Zoom Version for Virtual Meetings

We upgraded the embedded Zoom version to make the virtual meetings experience even smoother. 

  • Ability to Make a Payment for Transaction Balance

Residents can now make a payment for the remaining balance from My Account>Transactions tab if the workspace has a certain integration.

  • Improved Status Certificate Notifications

We provided end users with more clarity in email notifications about status certificates.

  • Sound Notifications for Valet Parking on Desktop

Administrative users responsible for valet parking will now be notified about new vehicle requests by sound.

  • Comments Available on Visitor Details Report

We included a new comments column under the visitor details report.

  • Wording Change for Temporary Registration Code

We changed "temporary password" to "registration code" across the site to avoid confusion for users that register for the first time.

  • Reintroduced Status On Hold for Tasks

Based on clients' feedback we reintroduced the "On Hold" task status for the list page filter and under reports. We also improved the preview appearance for task attachments as part of this change. 

  • Reporting for Profile Picture and Photo ID Uploads

We introduced new columns under Phone Numbers and Emails report allowing users to view when a profile picture or photo ID was uploaded to the system.

  • Merged Fields for Violation Tracking Email Templates

We introduced several fields that can now be merged for violation tracking email templates. More changes are coming.

  • Option to Prevent Service Request Edits of Custom Fields after Submission

We introduced a new permission for service request custom fields preventing resident users from editing custom fields once the request is submitted.

  • Fix to Event Reminder Notifications

We addressed an issue with some event reminders not being generated properly.

  • Fix to Discussion Forum Notifications

We addressed an issue with discussion forum notifications not generating for followers after a post pending moderator approval is approved.

  • Fix to Service Request Articles

We addressed an issue with deleting service request articles on the setup page.

  • Fix to Task View for Users with Limited Permissions

We addressed an issue with task details not being visible to users without admin permission.

  • Fix to Count of Workspaces on Portfolio

We addressed the inconsistency with workspace counts on portfolio. 

  • Fix to Logging Multiple Packages

We addressed issues affecting users' ability to log multiple packages on the Security & Concierge Console.

  • Fix to Small Workspace Widgets

We addressed an issue with some small widgets not properly displayed on the home page.

  • Fix to Duplicate Barcodes

We addressed an issue with users being able to add duplicate barcodes during inline editing.

  • Fix to Keys on Security & Concierge Console

We addressed a couple of issues with keys: editing has been improved and users can now save a key owner.
