The following changes were rolled out to Condo Control during our June 26, 2025 release. Please review the release notes carefully as some changes impact the way the system works.
NEW:
- Service Request with Custom Fields Report
We have created a new service request report that includes all the service request type custom fields. The Service Request with Custom Fields report allows you to select specific service request types and customized which custom fields you would like to show/not show on the report. You can save your customized report and re-run it in the future as needed.
IMPROVEMENTS:
- Dashboard Enhancements
On May 15th we announced the rollout of our new dashboard experience. Our modernized dashboard has a sleeker look with simplified colours and a reorganized main menu to help you navigate more easily. We have been gathering feedback and continue to make improvements based on your needs - like leaving menu categories expanded by default. The new dashboard is being rolled out gradually to each community so if you have not seen it yet, you will soon. - Service Request Email Preferences
We have added an additional service request email preference for users in staff groups. The new preference is called "Email me when a service request reminder is sent". If enabled, users with the appropriate permissions will receive reminder notifications for requests they are assigned to or requests without assignees. If disabled, users will not receive reminder notifications even if they have the appropriate permissions and are an assignee.
- Proxy Voting Early Voting Closure
We have updated the Close Voting function in the Proxy Voting module. Administrators can now end early voting independently of the meeting itself. This prevents residents from submitting votes or proxies once early voting is closed, while still keeping the meeting active and all scheduled notifications in place. Voting can be reopened at any point prior to the meeting and live voting remains unaffected and fully functional. These changes apply to all election types: General, Ontario-Specific, and Electronic Voting.
- Election Proxy Without Questions
Administrators can now create and publish elections without adding any questions in advance. Questions can be added live during the virtual meeting, making this ideal for town hall-style sessions where discussions shape the voting. In this setup, the election serves primarily as a meeting notification, with voting taking place only during the live session. This change applies to the General and Electronic Voting form.
BUG FIXES:
- Fix to Short Term Rental Vehicle Province List
Resolved an issue where users received an error message after saving a new stay with no vehicle license state/province. This occurred because the selected country does not have states or provinces. We have updated our country state/province list so the field will now say N/A in such scenarios.
- Fix to User & Unit History Records Reports
Addressed an issue where both the User History Records report and Unit History Records report were showing an error message instead of loading the history record data.
- Fix to Portfolio Announcements
Resolved an issue where some portfolios were unable to send out announcements to the desired user group(s) because the announcement recipient list contained a large number of workspaces.
- Fix to Announcement Template Preview
Resolved an issue where some announcement template images were not loading on the standard template announcements list.
- Fix to Virtual Meeting Live Voting
Addressed an issue where some users were not seeing questions or the questions would flash in and out during virtual meeting live voting.
- Fix to the Guest Passes Report
Addressed an issue where the Guest Passes report was showing duplicate records for purchases made using a saved ACH account.
- Fix to Downloading Purchase Orders
Resolved an issue where users received an error message when they tried to download a purchase order from the Recent Purchase Orders list or from the Purchase Order Details page.
