How to Reconcile a Payout in Embedded Payments

This guide shows you how to see which resident payments make up a payout, so you can match a deposit in your bank account to the right booking or charge. You must be part of the Payment Administrators group to access the Payment Setup section.

When Stripe sends money to your bank account, it combines your residents' payments into a single payout, minus processing fees. Your bank statement and the payout export only show that total. The steps below show you how to open a payout and see exactly what each payment in it was for.

If your Stripe account was created before July 1, 2025 and has not moved to Embedded Payments, refer to the Stripe Reconciliation Guide instead.

1. Click your initials in the top right corner, then select Setup.

2. Click Payment Setup in the menu on the left.

3. Click the Financial Reports tab, then the Payouts tab.

Note: If you have more than one payment account, select the correct one from the Account drop-down first.

4. Click the payout you want to reconcile.

Note: The Statement descriptor on every payout is Condo Control, so that is the name you will see on your bank statement. This is your residents' money, sent to you through the Stripe account built into Condo Control. It is not a payment from Condo Control.

5. Scroll down to the Transactions section and click the Payment you want to look at.

6. The payment details show who paid and what the payment was for. For an amenity booking, this includes the amenity name and the booking number. Below that you will see the gross amount, the processing fee and the total you received.

Note: Every payment that makes up the payout is listed under Transactions. Click Go back and repeat step 5 for each one.
