Paid Visitor Parking Overview

What is Paid Visitor Parking?

Paid Visitor Parking is a service implemented in condominiums and Homeowners Associations (HOA) to efficiently manage and control parking spaces designated for guests of residents. This feature allows property management to charge visitors' a nominal fee for a specified duration to utilize reserved parking areas. Some core elements of our Paid Visitor Parking feature include:

  • Hourly, Daily, and Flat Rate payment options
  • Ability to set different fee amounts based on parking area (e.g., Underground vs. Outdoor)
  • Scan & Pay functionality for non-Condo Control users

Feature Requirements

There are two different modes for visitor paid parking:

  • Web application by residents on behalf of their visitors, either before at time of visitor arrival
    • This mode is currently supported by Stripe and Zego payment providers for Credit Cards only. ACH is not supported for this feature.
  • Self-serve stand-alone, allowing visitors to register themselves upon arrival
    • This mode is currently only supported by Stripe for Credit Cards only. ACH is not supported for this feature.

Before you start using Paid Visitor Parking, you have to enable the Store feature for your workspace, and configure the necessary payment providers. Click here for instructions on how to setup your Stripe account and connect it to your workspace. Once enabled, you can utilized Online Payments for additional features like Amenity Bookings, Service Requests, Status Certificates, and the Store.

Note: Visitor Paid Parking transactions do not currently export to 3rd party accounting systems.
