PAID VISITOR PARKING SETTINGS

1. Max. Free Permits Per Period - Enter how many free parking permits residents have per parking period. If you do not want to offer any free permits, enter zero.

Your parking period is configured in the Visitor Parking Settings section. For instructions on how to configure your parking period, refer to the following user guide: Parking Permit Setup Guide.

2. Type of Cost - Select the parking cost type for your property. You can pick either:

  • Hourly Rate: visitor charged for each hour they are parked.
  • Flat Rate: set amount charged for all parking permits (regardless of the length of time).
  • Daily Rate: visitor charged for each day they are parked.

3. Fee Type - Select the Fee Type for your property. If you want one fee for all your visitor parking areas, select Same for all parking areas and enter the amount in the Fee Amount field.

If your building does not have Visitor Parking Spots enabled, you can only select Same for all parking areas. You will also see an additional field called Enable Total Capacity Limit. If you select Yes, you can enter the maximum number of visitor parking spots available for your property.

If you want to charge different amounts based on the visitor parking area, for example one amount for outdoor parking and one amount for underground parking, select Different based on parking area.

Then, add parking areas and set the corresponding fee amounts. You must have at least two parking areas. You will need to connect these areas to parking spots after you complete your paid visitor parking setup.

For instructions on how to enable and configure visitor parking spots, refer to the following user guide: Visitor Parking Setup Guide

4. Maximum Lead Time - Determine how far in advance residents and guests can reserve paid visitor parking. If there is no time limit, select No Restrictions.

5. Select-Serve Visitor Parking URL - Use this URL to create a QR code for the Scan & Pay feature. This allows guests to register and pay for visitor parking without the Condo Control app. Your Customer Success Manager can help you with this process.

For a demonstration of the Scan & Pay feature, refer to the following video: Visitor Parking: Scan & Pay Video Guide
