What is Electronic Voting?
Electronic voting is a modern method that allows individuals to cast their votes using digital technology rather than traditional paper ballots. In the context of condominiums and HOAs, electronic voting simplifies the voting process for residents and board members by enabling them to participate and vote remotely using devices like computers, smartphones, or tablets. Some core elements of our Electronic Voting feature include:
- Automated vote tabulation summarizing the results in real time
- Quorum tracking to ensure the minimum participation requirement is reached
- Scheduled customizable reminders sent via email, text, or voice message
Why Choose Electronic Voting?
Electronic Voting allows communities to engage their residents and reach quorum while maintaining information security and privacy. There are several benefits to utilizing our Electronic Voting feature:
- Enhanced Accessibility: Electronic Voting allows residents to vote remotely, increasing participation and removing the need for physical attendance.
- Increased Efficiency: The Electronic Voting feature automates vote counting reducing time and effort and providing quicker results.
- Improved Accuracy: Using the Electronic Voting feature reduces the likelihood of human error in counting votes and lead to more accurate results.

Feature Requirements
There are two group permissions related to electronic voting (listed under the Proxy Voting section). Staff-level user groups, like Property Managers, must have both the “Can Access Proxy Feature” and “Can Administer Proxy” permission enabled to create and manage electronic voting events. Resident-level user groups, like Owners or Tenants, only require the “Can Access Proxy Feature” permission to access the online ballot and review/ update their vote in the Condo Control system.
