The following changes will be rolled out to Condo Control during our January 15, 2025 release. Please review the release notes carefully as some changes impact the way the system works.
IMPROVEMENTS:
- Security Patrol Improvements
We have rolled out a series of improvements to our Security Patrol feature on the Mobile app. Key updates include:
- Improved Sync Functionality: Reliable sync with real-time status updates for checkpoints, notes, incidents, and attachments, whether online or offline.
- Redesigned Patrol Overview Page: Overview page is now accessible during patrols and provides detailed insights into progress and sync status of checkpoints and other data.
- Confirmation Pop-Up for Starting Patrols: Guards can now confirm their route selection before starting the patrol helping to avoid accidental selections.
- Linked Checkpoint on Incident Creation Screen: A new Linked Checkpoint field has been added to the New Incident Report screen allowing guards to select the relevant checkpoint when logging an incident during patrol.

- Saved Payment Methods for Paid Visitor Parking
We have implemented an improvement that allows residents to save and reuse payment accounts for Paid Visitor Parking. The improvement applies to workspaces using Zego payments and both Credit Card and EFT accounts can be saved. The saved payment accounts can be viewed, revised, and deleted under the "Manage Cards" section of the Make a Payment feature. This improvement streamlines the payment process for residents by eliminating the need to re-enter payment details, and ensures consistency with other payment features like Make a Payment and Asset Management v.2. - User Guides Displayed in Preferred Language
We have improved the language preference functionality for our User Guides. When a user selects User Guides from their workspace, their default view will now match their workspace language preference.
- Language Preference = English or Mandarin / Default View = English
- Language Preference = French / Default View = French
- Language Preference = Spanish / Default View = Spanish
If a user is not logged into Condo Control, the language preference will be driven by their browser language. For instructions on updating you language preference, review the following guide: How to Change Your Language Preferences
- Email Template Workspace Logo Size Changes
In our previous release we launched our new email template design. To further improve on the design, we made some changes to the workspace logo size. We now resize your logo to a maximum height of 60 pixel, while maintaining its aspect ratio. - Recurring Payment Type Deletion Process Improvements
We have improved our process for handling recurring payment type deletions. When an online payment product set to recurring payment is deleted, our system will now automatically cancel any associated recurring subscriptions. This will prevent residents from being charged for the upcoming month. Residents will also receive an email notification about the cancelled recurring subscription. BUG FIXES:
- Fix to File Library Disk Space Widget
Addressed an issue where the disk space widget in the file library was including deleted files in the total.
- Fix to Profile Picture File Format for New Users
Resolved an issue with uploading JPEG file profile pictures during user creation.
- Fix for Users with French Language Preference Adding New Users to Groups
Addressed an issue where users with French as their language preference could not add new users to a group on the setup page.
- Fix to New Visitor Form Disabled Save Button
Addressed an issue where the save button on the new visitor form remained disabled after users updated the missing fields on the form.
- Fix to Announcements Public Link Messaging
Resolved an issue where announcements viewed via public link displayed the message "loading history records"
- Fix to Unsubscribe/Resubscribe Email Option
Resolved an issue with the unsubscribe/resubscribe email option not appearing on the My Account > User page.
- Fix to Invalid Email Address Flag for Integration Updates
Addressed an issue where users imported with incorrect email addresses would retain the invalid email address flag after the address was corrected in the integration platform.
- Fix to Editing User Notes
Addressed an issue where the Unit File > User Notes edit option redirected users to the workspace homepage.
- Fix to Violation Tracking Loading Time
Resolved an issue with violations taking a long time to open and load.
- Fix to Announcement Advanced Search Results
Resolved an issue with the pagination for announcement advanced search results.
