Security Patrol - How to Reorder & Rename Checkpoints

The Security Patrol features allows security personnel to check-in at various points on a patrol route and add pictures, notes or incident reports. After creating patrol routes and checkpoints, administrators can update the checkpoint details. This user guide outlines how to reorder, rename and delete checkpoints from a patrol route.

1. Select Security Patrol from the main menu.

2. Pick the Settings icon in the top right corner.

3. Select the desired route from the patrol route list.

Reorder Checkpoints

To reorder the checkpoints, select the three lines beside a checkpoint and drag it to the appropriate position. Continue this process until the checkpoints are in the desired order.

Note: The checkpoint order is only relevant if you disabled the following setting on the Security Patrol settings page: Allow to scan checkpoints in any sequence. Refer to the following guide for instructions on updating your settings: Security Patrol Setup

Rename a Checkpoint

1. Select the Arrow icon beside the checkpoint you want to rename.

2. Update the checkpoint name and click the Save icon in the top right corner.

3. The name of the checkpoint has now been updated.

Note: The name change only applies to this patrol route. The checkpoint will retains it's original name in any other routes it's linked to.

Update a NFC Tag

Select Re-scan a new tag to update the checkpoint tag. Hover over the NFC tag, once it has been scanned correct the prompt will disappear. Click the Save icon to finalize the change.

Delete a Checkpoint

1. Select Delete this spot to remove the checkpoint from the route. 

Note: This will not remove the checkpoint from the system - it will still be connected to any other routes it was assigned to.

2. The checkpoint has now been remove from the patrol route.
